London November 2014

Nachdem ich mich etwas länger nicht gemeldet habe, habe ich hier jetzt eine Menge Bilder aus London für euch. Ich war dort mit meiner Familie in den Herbstferien für vier Tage. 
Ich wollte dieses Mal versuchen besondere Dinge auf Bildern festhalten. Hoffentlich ist es mir gelungen! 
Die Bilder sind hauptsächlich in Chinatown, Notting Hill und einigen Nebenstraßen in der Gegend von unserem Hotel, welches in der Old Street lag, gemacht worden. Das Essen in China Town fand ich sehr interessant und lecker (z.B. Bild 6&7). Die Shirts in Bild 10 fand ich so schön, aber sie haben leider über 40 Pounds gekostet. 
Zwei Bilder, unter anderem das vorletzte, habe ich gemacht, als wir die St. Pauls Cathedral besichtigt haben. Es war sehr beeindruckend, aber drinnen durfte man keine Fotos machen. Das Bild habe ich ganz oben von der Plattform des Turms gemacht. Von dort hatte man wirklich einen tollen Ausblick!
Zu dem letzten Bild gibt es noch mehr Informationen: Rund um den Tower Of London sind zur Zeit sehr viele Mohnblumen aus Keramik zu sehen. Viele Briten trugen auch eine Mohnblume aus Papier oder einen kleinen Anstecker an ihrer Kleidung. Es soll an die Opfer des ersten Weltkrieges erinnern. Sehr viele Leute wollten zum Tower Of London und tagsüber war dort kein Durchkommen mehr. Aber wir waren schon morgens um Zehn da, deshalb war dort nicht so viel los. Ich hoffe das Bild zeigt wie beeindruckend die Mohnblumen sind! Mehr Informationen gibt es hier.

After I haven't posted for more than a week I now show you the pictures I took in London. I was there with my family during the autumn holidays. This time I wanted to catch special things in my pictures. I hope I was succesfull. 
The photos are mostly taken in China Town, Notting Hill and in side-streets in the area of our hotel, which was in the Old Street. The food in China Town (Pic 6&7) was very interesting and delicious. The shirts in picture 10 were so beautiful but they costed more than 40 pounds! 
The second-last picture was taken when we visited St Pauls Cathedral. It was impressive but inside it was forbidden to take photos. I took the picture on the platform of the tower of the cathedral. It was really a great view up there!

Some informations to the last picture: Around the Tower Of London a lot of poppies can be seen currently. Many Brits also wore a poppie made of paper or a little sticker on their clothes. This project remembers the victims of the first world war. Many people wanted to visit the Tower Of London and there was no getting through. But we went there at ten o'clock and that's why it wasn't so busy. I hope the pictures shows how impressive the poppies were. You can find more information here.
